Finite Element Analysis

One of the primary benefits of using 3-D modeling to design a product or prototype is that it allows the manufacturer of the part or gadget to perform tests on individual parts, and in other cases, an entire assembly of parts. These tests are performed to double check the product will stand up to the rigorous stresses and forces that will be impacted on the product in its normal working environment.

Performing Finite Element Analysis simulations will essentially double check the strength of the product and identify weak areas that may need special attention. 

Designers use Finite Element Analysis to not only reduce material thicknesses of parts to save money, but they also use Finite Element Analysis to ensure the product can withstand specified forces and stresses.

Typically, Finite Element Analysis is used in Engineering to ensure structures, machines, and all moving parts work as specified ensuring product and gadget longevity.
